Its been an interesting year as a professional artist. I've spent most of my life studying art, practicing art and improving my skill. I always say, if you want to be a concert pianist, then you need to practice. Its exactly the same with painting!

I built my new website this year - which I can maintain myself - and YOU have used it to buy art and greetings cards! Thank you!

Being an artist is a fascinating, many faceted job - a bit like running a small business. I love it. And I am delighted that a gallery in London, Long & Ryle, is now showing two seasonal paintings in their online Christmas exhibition!

Next year I'm starting with an exciting project in the historic cafe Cheesmeyer in Sissach - I'll be there from 5th January in their window with my MOBILE ATELIER painting YOU in the cafe!
Always wanted your portrait painted? Now's your chance! I will paint your portrait in the cafe for only Fr. 590 in acrylic on paper. I will be there for the month of January.

Come and say hello in Sissach at my "meet and greet" on Thursday, 12th January from 5 - 7.30pm.
