I spent a delightful January 2023 in Cheesmeyer - an historic cafe serving food, a meeting point for various activities and offering cultural events in Sissach, Switzerland.

The result of this time is a portfolio of work showing various aspects of cafe culture, the meeting of friends and enjoyment of concerts. 

On Thursday evenings there is often a concert. Here a flutist and pianist were playing jazz. I sketched this during their performance. The flutist is Ben Zahler and the pianist Lorenzo Vitolo.
