Inspired by the Blue Boy
Do you love nothing more than smooching around some world class art? Enjoy looking at the old masters and dreaming of what it would have been like to pose for them?
I was in London in May, and quite by chance in the National Gallery - where Thomas Gainsborough's 18th century painting "The Blue Boy" was on show, 100 years after it was bought and shipped from Britain to the United States. I was able to see it on one of its last days in London! Of course I had to draw him standing there looking at me.
Now you get this opportunity to own, no of course not the real Blue Boy, but my very real drawing from him. Super cute and now looking at you!
He's beautifully petite, so I will send him to you framed (included in the price) in his box frame which you don't even need to hang, but can place on a mantelpiece or bookshelf.
