The Love Letter
Isn't she lovely?
Inspired by Joos van Cleve’s portrait of Queen Eleanor of Austria (c. 1530) in the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna, I first sketched her in the gallery and later developed this linocut from my drawing — so you too can know a queen. Also available as a greetings card.
Each print is hand-burnished without a press, making every one unique. Edition of 12.
She’s also available as a Christmas card, and if you’d like a colouring version, I’ll include one free of charge — just let me know.
Your print will arrive in a cardboard mount, wrapped in cellophane and ready to frame.
