Nadja's dried flowers
Do you enjoy flowers in all their forms? Have you tried drying them and noticing the new shapes they take?
This study of mountain flowers, which Nadja dried on the wood burner, was painted during a stay in a mountain hut at 2100 m in Graubünden, Swiss Alps. I spent a week each summer from 2019–2022 painting en plein air there.
Some of the flowers may look familiar if you have a rockery or low-soil plants.
Painted in watercolour and Indian ink on watercolour paper, it will be sent mounted on cardboard, ready to frame—no risk of the flowers becoming brittle.
