This oil painting is just such a dream. It's based on my garden, and painted in my garden - in a dreamy, otherworldly manner. To let you escape and dream. 

Painted on top of another oil painting of my garden - which allows the colour and depth to develop in the new painting on top. I enjoy reworking older work to create something new, that wouldn't have developed in this way if there hadn't already been colour on the canvas. 

All my canvases are European linen, stretched and primed 3x with high quality gesso by me. I nail the edges on purpuse to celebrate the hand made and delightfully irregular.
