I was lucky to be given a free ticket to watch some of the Swiss Indoors Basel, Stan Wawrinka played against Alexandre Shevchenko. I ended up with a pile of sketches - because of course one of the beauties of watching something so dynamic, is pitting your skills in sketching against the skill of the players on the court. I always wonder what do to with these sketches, now I was finally able to work them into this beautiful, dynamic oil painting! I'm delighted with the result - and I'm sure you will love looking at it - you can almost hear the swish of the racket, the thwack against the ball...
