A simple pleasure, celebrated in colour.

A golden croissant rests on a brilliant blue plate, surrounded by sweeping curves of deep violet, cobalt blue, warm orange and yellow. Seen from above, this everyday breakfast becomes an unexpected exploration of colour, shape and light.

Croissant transforms an ordinary moment into something extraordinary. The familiar pastry becomes the centre of a vibrant composition, where contrasting colours and expressive brushstrokes bring energy and movement to the scene.

Playful yet carefully observed, this original artwork celebrates the beauty hidden in everyday objects.

A colourful, contemporary painting to bring warmth, character and a touch of joie de vivre into your home.

An original painting on paper by Swiss-British artist Sibylle Laubscher.

On display for the first time since its making in Basel from mid-November
