In the Window - original artwork

A quiet moment, a glimpse into another world.

A woman sits by a large café window, surrounded by warm colours, inviting chairs and the gentle bustle of everyday life. Beyond the glass, trees and buildings suggest a world continuing at its own pace.

In the Window captures the particular pleasure of sitting in a café, watching the world go by. The rich terracotta tones of the floor contrast with cool turquoise and soft greens outside, while expressive lines and loosely applied colour bring movement and life to the scene.

The painting invites us to linger, to notice the interplay of interior and exterior spaces, and to imagine the stories of the people who inhabit them.

With its atmospheric composition and lively brushwork, this original contemporary painting celebrates the beauty of ordinary moments and the quiet poetry of everyday life.

A distinctive artwork to bring warmth, colour and a sense of contemplation into your home.

On display for the first time since its making in Basel from mid-November
