As someone always questioning where I belong, a dual national - Swiss/British - this exhibition really struck a nerve. So I am very happy to be part of it! 
I will be exhibiting work from my "The Painted House" collection at Büni Galerie Dotzige. 

Showcasing the work of 42 artists in two galleries it will be an exciting feast for the eyes and soul.

Where is my home? – this question has been on my mind for a long time.
As a dual national, I move back and forth between my Swiss roots
and my school days in England, between my two native languages: Swiss German and English.

The older I get, the more this question preoccupies me:
Where do I belong?
With these thoughts in mind, I began to explore my home through art – starting during the Covid-19 pandemic – whilst at the same time observing and interpreting the landscape around me.

Wo ist meine Heimat? – diese Frage beschäftigt mich schon lange.
Als Doppelstaatsbürgerin pendle ich zwischen meinen Schweizer Wurzeln
und meiner englischen Schulzeit, zwischen meinen beiden
Muttersprachen: Schweizerdeutsch und Englisch.

Je älter ich werde, desto stärker beschäftigt mich die Frage:
Wo gehöre ich hin?
Mit diesen Gedanken im Hinterkopf habe ich begonnen, mein Zuhause
künstlerisch zu erforschen – angefangen während der Corona-Zeit – und zugleich
die Landschaft um mich herum zu betrachten und zu interpretieren.
