Winter (inspired by Breugel)
Love Breugel’s paintings?
This linocut is my own take on Pieter Breugel the Elder’s “Hunters in the Snow” (1565), inspired by sketches I made during a long afternoon at the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna — the kind of visit you never want to end. Also available as a greetings card.
Each print is hand-burnished, made without a press, so every one is unique — just like us.
Edition of 10.
If you know someone who enjoys colouring, let me know — I’ll include a free outline sheet so you can create your own Breugel-inspired version.
Your print comes in a cardboard mount, carefully wrapped in cellophane for safe delivery.
