A home filled with memories, colour and the quiet wonder of Christmas.

A decorated Christmas tree glows beside a window, surrounded by flowers, handmade ornaments, a miniature nativity scene and treasured objects collected over time. On the tables and shelves, ceramics, candles, cards and small sculptures create a rich tapestry of shapes, colours and memories.

In Christmas 2023, Sibylle Laubscher captures the intimate atmosphere of a home at Christmas. Soft winter blues and greens contrast with warm wooden furniture and delicate touches of pink, gold and violet. Expressive brushstrokes bring movement to the composition, inviting the eye to wander from one detail to another.

The painting celebrates the beauty of objects that become part of our personal history. Decorations brought out each December, handmade figures passed down through generations, and familiar arrangements that transform a room into a place of celebration.

Beyond the window lies the cool winter world, while inside, art, nature and tradition come together in a warm and welcoming space.

An original contemporary painting that invites us to slow down, look more closely and rediscover the beauty of Christmas traditions and the memories they carry.

A distinctive artwork to bring warmth, atmosphere and a sense of belonging into your home, not just at Christmas, but throughout the year.
